Drop the deck.

Locate the switch by looking though the square hole in the right side of the frame. Switch should be free to move up and down.

View from underneath. Switches stuck in the up position will prevent the brushes from turning.

Open tank and locate the wires coming out of the end of the switch. Note the orientation of the wires and the location of the plug-in at the Power Board. If the wires are disconnected...the brushes will spin, even when the deck is raised.

Unplug the wires from the Power Board. Using a flathead screwdriver pry the switch out from the frame.

Pull the switch and wires out as a unit. Transfer wires to new switch. Feed wires back up through frame, new switch will snap in place.
